    Works with ChatGPT & Claude

Connect your AI assistant to OyaLink

Once connected, your assistant can search verified pros and — after you sign in — look up your own profile, listing, bookings and leads.

    Your OyaLink connection link

Copy this and paste it into your assistant when it asks for a server or connector URL. Or scan the QR code from your phone.

    Connect step by step

    ChatGPT

    1. 1Open ChatGPT settings → Apps (Advanced) and turn on Developer mode. Read the risk notice ChatGPT shows there; if the option is missing, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
    2. 2Open the New plugin dialog.
    3. 3Enter the name OyaLink and paste the connection link above into the URL field.
    4. 4Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connector), then click Create.
    5. 5Turn OyaLink on from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

    Claude

    1. 1Open the prefilled Claude connector form.
    2. 2Review the details and click Add.
    3. 3If the form doesn’t open prefilled, go to Claude’s Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it OyaLink and paste the link above.
    4. 4Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use OyaLink.

    Claude Code

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http oyalink 'https://oyalink.ng/mcp'
    1. 1Run the command above in a terminal.
    2. 2Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm OyaLink is connected — sign in from that menu if prompted.
    3. 3Ask Claude Code to use OyaLink.

    Other AI assistants

    1. 1Open the assistant’s connector or MCP server settings.
    2. 2Create a new remote server connection.
    3. 3Name it OyaLink and paste the connection link above.
    4. 4Finish any sign-in or authorisation prompts.
    5. 5Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use OyaLink.
    After we ship updates

    Refresh the connection

Assistants remember what OyaLink could do when you first connected, so refresh after we release changes.

    ChatGPT

    1. 1Open ChatGPT’s Plugins page and select OyaLink.
    2. 2Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
    3. 3ChatGPT can’t change an existing app’s URL — if the link above changed, delete OyaLink and connect again.
    4. 4Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use OyaLink.

    Claude

    1. 1Open the Connectors page and select OyaLink.
    2. 2Refresh or update the connector.
    3. 3Claude can’t change an existing connector’s URL — if the link changed, remove it and connect again.
    4. 4Ask Claude to use OyaLink.

    Claude Code

    1. 1Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest version on connect.
    2. 2If the link changed, run claude mcp remove oyalink, then run the install command again.
    3. 3Ask Claude Code to use OyaLink.

    Other AI assistants

    1. 1Open the assistant’s connector or MCP server settings.
    2. 2Select the OyaLink connection.
    3. 3Refresh the connection or reload the server.
    4. 4If the link changed, paste the latest one from above.
    5. 5Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use OyaLink.
    Troubleshooting

    Common connection errors

If the assistant fails to connect, can’t see your tools, or returns unexpected errors, try these fixes in order.

“Could not connect to server” or 404

    1. 1Check that the copied URL exactly matches the connection link above (no trailing spaces or extra characters).
    2. 2Make sure the URL starts with https:// and ends with /mcp.
    3. 3Try opening the URL directly in a browser tab — it should return a small JSON response. If it shows an error, the assistant will see the same error.
    4. 4Refresh the connector and, if the URL changed, delete and re-add it.

    “Sign-in failed” or “Unauthorized”

    1. 1Confirm you are signed into OyaLink in the same browser where you are setting up the assistant.
    2. 2On the consent screen, click Approve — choosing Deny blocks the connection.
    3. 3If you are in a private/incognito window, sign in normally first, then return to the assistant setup.
    4. 4Try disconnecting the connector, signing out of OyaLink, signing back in, and reconnecting.

“The assistant says the tool is not available”

    1. 1Start a new chat thread after connecting. Some assistants only load the tool list for new conversations.
    2. 2Refresh the connector (see the “Refresh the connection” section above).
    3. 3Make sure the connector is enabled in the chat composer’s tool/plugin menu.
    4. 4Ask a direct, simple prompt like “Search for plumbers on OyaLink” instead of a vague request.

Assistant can’t read my bookings or listings

    1. 1Personal tools require OAuth sign-in. If you skipped the consent screen, remove the connector and reconnect.
    2. 2Verify that the listing or booking belongs to the same OyaLink account you used to approve the connector.
    3. 3Try asking again with a specific time range, for example “List my bookings from the last 30 days.”
    4. 4If you just created or updated a record, wait a moment and retry — database propagation can take a few seconds.

    “Invalid URL” or “URL rejected”

    1. 1Copy the link from the box above rather than typing it manually.
    2. 2Remove any extra punctuation, line breaks, or whitespace that may have been added when pasting.
    3. 3Some assistants require a public URL. This connector uses the site’s live URL, which is valid.
    4. 4If you previously added a connector with the same name, remove the old one first to avoid a conflict.

Tools are slow or return errors

    1. 1Check if the request is naturally slow — searching a large list or fetching many records can take a few seconds.
    2. 2Try a simpler query with fewer filters, then narrow it down.
    3. 3If you see repeated errors, refresh the connector and start a new chat.
    4. 4If the error persists for more than a few minutes, contact OyaLink support with the exact error message and the time it happened.
